After a back-and-forth series that saw both teams at their best โ€” and at their worst โ€” it all comes down to this: the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat meet tonight in Game 7 of the NBA Eastern Conference finals, with the winner booking a date with the Golden State Warriors in the 2022 NBA Finals.

Miami was pushed to the brink Friday night, facing elimination against a feisty Boston squad that was looking to return to the NBA finals for the first time since 2010. But led by Jimmy Butlerโ€™s whopping 47 points (to go along with nine rebounds and four steals), the Heat came alive in Game 6, taking down the Celtics by a score of 111-103.

That forces a deciding Game 7, with a trip to the NBA championships on the line. Hereโ€™s how to get tickets to watch the Heat vs. Celtics in Miami and how to stream Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals online.

The Miami Heat are still alive. After falling behind 3-2 to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals, the Heat pulled out an impressive win in Game 6 to extend the series and force a decisive Game 7 on Sunday night in Miami.

In Game 6, the Heat showed a collective ability to bounce back, as did several key contributors on their roster. After scoring 27 total points in Games 3, 4 and 5, Jimmy Butler willed the Heat to victory with a playoff career-high 47 points in Game 6. He also added nine rebounds and eight assists in what was arguably the best performance of the postseason so far.

Similarly, Kyle Lowry had more points (18) and assists (10) in Game 6 than he had in the rest of the series combined. Both of those guys have been battling injury issues this postseason, but they've clearly tried to fight through them and be available for their team. Now, the Heat sit just one win away from their second Finals berth in the past three seasons, while the Celtics are looking for their first Finals appearance since 2010.

On Sunday night, one of the teams will move on to face off against the Golden State Warriors, while the other team's offseason will begin. Here's everything you need to know about the seventh game between Miami and Boston.

Boston hasn't won a Game 7 on the road since the 1974 NBA Finals, excluding the 2020 playoffs that were played in the Florida bubble. However, they've already won twice in Miami this series -- Game 2 and Game 5. The Celtics also own a 6-2 record on the road in the 2022 playoffs.

The keys for the Celtics are limiting turnovers and preventing the Heat from getting too many offensive rebounds. The C's have allowed the Heat to score a ton of points in this series off turnovers and from second-chance opportunities. If the Celtics stay under 15 turnovers they will probably win.

Boston got 30 points and nine rebounds from Jayson Tatum in Game 6 and Jaylen Brown added 20 points, six rebounds and five assists. He was also called for a charge on Victor Oladipo late in the fourth period which ultimately sealed the deal for Miami. The Celtics are 1-0 in Game 7s during the postseason, earning a 109-81 win over the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 7 of the second round. They have yet to lose back-to-back games in these playoffs.

Miami outscored Boston 17-6 in the final 4:42 of the game after the Celtics took a 97-94 lead. Tyler Herro (groin strain) did not play in Game 6 but could be in for Game 7. Kyle Lowry was 4-of-9 on 3-pointers and finished with 18 points and 10 assists, a massive jump in production. The Heat have only lost two games at home this postseason, both coming in this series.

After a closely-match series, it all comes down to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals. Oddsmakers have the Celtics as favorites to win Game 7, though youโ€™ve seen Miami come from behind before and you canโ€™t count this team out.

Miami is led by a red-hot Jimmy Butler, who dropped 47 points Friday night and is leading his team with almost 20 points a game in the series.

Bostonโ€™s Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, meantime, have given the Celtics a big one-two punch when it comes to offense โ€” both players are averaging well over 20 points a game in the series.

The Heat last appeared in the NBA finals in 2020 and will be looking for their sixth conference title, while the Celtics are looking to return to the finals for the first time since 2010. If they beat the Heat, it will be Bostonโ€™s 10th conference championship.

Whoever wins between the Heat vs. Celtics will go on to face the resurgent Golden State Warriors, who are back in the NBA Finals for the sixth time in eight years.
